Explanation
Multiple files that can be selected
Only files in the same folder can be selected by soft key [SELECT]. Files in different
devices or folders cannot be selected together.
A maximum of 10 files can be selected.
Renaming a file name during a copy or movement
When only one file is selected for a copy or movement, the file can be renamed during a copy
or movement.
To do this, select the file, enter the file name, and press soft key [COPY] or [MOVE]. The
file is copied or moved with its name changed.
Copying or moving files within the same folder
A file cannot copied or moved within the same folder.
If an attempt is made to copy or move it, the warning message " SAMEFILE NOTCOPY"
appears.
When only one file is selected and its name is changed during a copy or movement, however,
a copy or movement within the same folder can be performed.
Overwriting a file
When a copy or movement is performed, if a file with the same name is present in the copy or
movement destination folder, the character string "REWRITEFile Name" blinks under the
key-in buffer. Press soft key [OVER WRITE] to overwrite the file or press soft key [NO] to
cancel the operation.
Searching for a file during file selection
When a file to be copied or moved is selected after soft key [SELECT START] is pressed,
soft key [SEARCH] can be used to search for a file in a folder.
To do this, enter the name of a file to be searched for and press [SEARCH]. If the file with
the name is found, the cursor moves to the file. If the file is not found, the warning message
" SPECIFIED PROGRAM NOT FOUND" appears.
The action triggered by soft key [SEARCH] is to move the cursor to the program searched for
on the list screen. Switching of operation by bit 5 (PES) of parameter No. 11302 is
impossible.
Display of selected file name
As for the file selected by the softkey [SELECT], the background color of the file name
display is changed. The background color of the file name display is maintained until the
selective state is released.
Releasing file selection
To release file selection made by soft key [SELECT], move the cursor to the selected file and
press soft key [SELECT] again.
The selection of all selected files is released when:
Soft key [CANCEL] is pressed during selection.
A copy or movement is completed.
