By this process it is possible to know approximate position of a discontinuous
point. In the case of the figure (page17)
1. A reference position return finishing
2. Move to machine coordinate value –45.000
3. Turn CNC off and on. Move to machine coordinate value 45.000 (the
other side) and move to machine coordinate value –45.000 again. And
Feed axis and direction selection signal is selected on REF mode.
4. Machine coordinate value is still –45.000. So move to machine
coordinate into the other side (45.000).
5. Turn CNC off and on. Move to machine coordinate value -45.000 (the
other side) because machine coordinate is 45.000. And Feed axis and
direction selection signal is selected on REF mode.
6. Machine coordinate value becomes –315.000 by missing 360-degree.
Then, go to turn 7.
7. Move to machine coordinate –325.000 by shifting10 degree.
8. Turn CNC off and on. Move to machine coordinate value -45.000 (the
farther side) and move to machine coordinate value –325.000 again..
And Feed axis and direction selection signal is selected on REF mode.
9. Machine coordinate value becomes 35.000 correctly
By this operation, a discontinuous point of scale data is found between 35.000
degreen and 45.000 degree.
