The αi series servo motor contains thermistors instead of thermostats
contained in conventional models. This function can receive thermistor
data and convert it to a temperature (°C) to provide ”motor temperature”
information.
The αi servo motor has two thermistors: one for detecting the motor
winding temperature and the other for detecting the pulse coder
temperature. When the motor winding temperature reaches 140°C or the
temperature of the printed circuit board in the pulse coder reaches 100°C,
a motor overheat alarm is issued.
