1.2.2 Installation
This section explains how to install the CNC display function.
NOTE
The CNC screen display function is realized using
socket communication (TCP/IP communication)
with the FANUC Ethernet board. Before starting to
use the function, check the following items by
referencing the FANUC Ethernet Board Operator's
Manual (B-63354EN).
• TCP/IP setting in the personal computer
• Setting of the FANUC Ethernet board and
FOCAS1 (DNC1)/Ethernet function in the CNC
• Network connection between the personal
computer and CNC
Procedure for installing the CNC screen display function
1. Set Disk 1 of the system disks (A02B-0207-K772#ZZ07) in the
floppy disk drive.
2. Choose the [Start] menu.
3. Choose [Run...].
4. Enter <drive-name>:SETUP, and choose the <OK> button.
(<drive-name> is the name of the 3.5-inch floppy disk drive.)
5. Install the CNC screen display function according to the display
messages.
