Display procedure

Procedure 1

(1) Press the <SYSTEM> function key several times until the bus

parameter screen, slave parameter screen, or slave function

setting screen appears.

(2) When the bus parameter screen or slave parameter screen

appears, press the soft key [SLAVE SETTING].

Procedure 2

(1) Press the <SYSTEM> function key .

(2) Press the soft key [PROFIBUS-DP].

(3) When the bus parameter screen or slave parameter screen

appears, press the soft key [SLAVE SETTING].

Cursor/paging

1 Use of the cursor keys <↓> <↑> moves the cursor.

• When the cursor key <↓> is pressed in OUTPUT DATA

SIZE, the cursor moves to FDL ADD on the bus parameter

screen.

• When the cursor key <↓> is pressed in STATION NO., the

cursor moves to CONFIG DATA LENGTH on the slave

parameter screen for slave No. 125.

2 Pressing the page key <PAGE ↓> displays the bus parameter

screen.

Pressing the page key <PAGE ↑> displays the slave parameter

screen for slave No. 125.

Initialization

Pressing the soft key [INIT] clears the address assignment parameters.

CAUTION

When assigning addresses, pay careful attention to the

following points:

1 Ensure that the specified DI and DO areas do not

overlap one another.

2 Ensure that specified addresses do not overlap an

area used for a ladder program.

3 Use the R area only. (When using the PMC-SB5, be

careful not to exceed R1499. When using the PMC-

SB6 or the PMC-NB6, be careful not to exceed

R2999.)
