2.6 Reverse function by manual handle
2.6.1 General
This function enables executing a program forward or backward by manual handle in order to check
the mistake of a program or the interference.
(1) Checking mode
For executing the forward and reverse movement by the manual handle, the mode is necessary to
change to the checking mode. The checking mode is the mode that the forward movement / reverse
movement can do with the manual handle. And the checking mode is one mode of the automatic
operation mode. Therefore, the mode selection is "MEM" mode and the checking mode is selected on
/ off by the DI signal ( address G0067#2 ). During the checking mode, data for the reverse
movement is made at the time of the program forward movement. And there is a switching signal
( address G0067#3 ) whether CNC executes the program synchronizing with the pulse of the
manual pulse generator or CNC executes the program like usual automatic operation. And, during
the checking mode, it is not possible to change the parameter and so on except the change of the
offset.
(2) Forward movement by the manual handle
The program execution feedrate is proportional to the number of rotations of the manual handle.
When the manual handle is turned to the positive direction quickly, the program is executed
quickly to forward movement and when the manual handle is turned to the positive direction
slowly, the program is executed slowly to forward movement.
(3) Reverse movement
When the manual handle is turned to the negative direction, a program is executed with the
reverse movement. It is possible to reverse the program execution to usual program execution.
Moreover, the number of blocks that reverse movement can do is about 200 blocks.
When the manual handle is turned to the negative direction quickly, the program is executed
quickly to reverse movement and when the manual handle is turned to the negative direction
slowly, the program is executed slowly to reverse movement.
