2.6.2 Details
(1) Control by manual handle
(a) Program execution start
After entering the checking mode, the program execution is begun. Then the synchronous
operation of the manual handle is selected, the execution of the program in the checking mode
is controlled by the pulse of the manual handle and the operation which synchronized with the
pulse is executed.
When the signal is turned on during execution, reverse movement of the program cannot be
correctly done.
Forward movement / reverse movement of the program cannot be done after that when turning
off during execution.
(b) Control by manual handle (manual pulse generator)
The machine movement value by 1 pulse of the manual handle is set to the parameter (No.6410).
The actual movement value of the machine when turning manual handle is as follows.
[Feedrate command value (mm/sec)] × [Parameter setting value]
× [Number of the handle pulse per a second] × [Handle magnification] / 12500
When the feedrate exceeds the override 100% feedrate by turning manual handle quickly, the
feedrate is clamped by override 100% feedrate. That is, if the pulse of the following formula
exceeds 1, the feedrate is clamped.
[Parameter setting value] × [Number of the handle pulse per a second]
× [Handle magnification] / 12500
The single block signal and the feed hold signal are effective during the checking mode. In the
single block stop, the program stops between the block and the block when the block ends by
manual handle movement. When it stopped by the single block stop or the feed hold stop, it is
necessary to input the ST signal for restarting the program.
It is only dwell and G-code with a movement to be able to control the execution speed of the
program by rotating the manual handle.
The rotation of the spindle does not synchronize with the pulse of the manual handle. During
the checking mode, the spindle rotates at the specified rotation speed. As for the feed per
revolution, a program is executed at the feedrate which was changed from the rotation speed of
the spindle to the considerable feed per minute inside CNC.
(2) Forward and reverse movement by manual handle
When the manual handle is turned to the positive direction, a program is executed with the
forward movement and when the manual handle is turned to the negative direction, a program is
executed with the reverse movement. When the manual handle is rotated the opposite direction in
the forward movement, the mode change from the reverse movement mode to the forward
movement mode. And it has possible to execute the program with the reverse movement. If it is
rotated moreover, reverse movement stops on the program number block. Then if the manual
handle is turned to the positive direction, the mode is changed the forward movement mode again

  • Page 102.2.3 Synchronous control and composite control (1) Overview 3-path control has three independent control paths. • Page 12(3) Composite Control Move commands can be interchanged between an axis in path 1 or path 2 and an axis in the other path.
