This chapter describes the operating environment of PMC simulator.
This chapter also describes how to set up PMC simulator to make
software ready for use.
2.1 OPERATING ENVIRONMENT
Using this product requires the environment described below.
OS : Windows 2000(SP4) or WindowsXP Home/Professional
Edition +.NET Framework 1.1 SP1
CPU : Hyper-Threading correspondent Pentium4 2.8GHz or
higher
Memory : 512MB or greater
Free hard disk space: 150MB or more
Display resolution: 1280×1024(SXGA) or higher
CD-ROM or DVD drive
USB port
When communicating with FANUC LADDER-III, it is necessary to be
connected with an effective network. In addition, when the simulator
and FANUC LADDER-III are communicated on the same PC, it is
necessary to enable the Hyper-Threading.
