linear encoder for Linear Motor Position Detection Circuit C are described.

5.Specification and Function
(1) Specification

(note) It is used in the case that 3 or 4 Linear Motors are tandem controlled
with one Linear Encoder.

(2) Function
Linear Motor Position Detection Circuit C consists of circuit which interpolates
analog signals from Linear Motor Pole Sensor to 32 divisions, circuit which detect
absolute position from signals from linear encoder with distance-coded reference
marks, circuit which interpolates analog signals from this linear encoder to 2,048
divisions, and driver/receive circuit which serial communicates with CNC.
(3) Interface of the reference signal(Z phase)and setting switch SW2
This circuit can receive two types of the reference signal interface. When the setting
of SW2 equals A, analog type reference signal can be received. When B, digital type
(RS-422 or RS-485) can be received.
SW2 is setting on side-A at the time of shipment.
