Canned Cycle for Threading
Threading can be programmed as Canned Cycle.
2.1 Threading Cycle/ Outer/Inner
Threading Cycle is executed by using the G720 and G12x command like the
following figure. And also, this cycle is used in X-Z plane.
(Note) Before commanding Threading Cycle, a tool must be moved to the
cutting start point like the above figure.
(Note) For using this cycle, it is necessary to add Thread cutting optional
function (A02B-02xx-J824).
(1) G-code Format The process data of this cycle, U,W,H…etc, are specified by using the G720
command as follows. And also, the threading figure of this cycle is specified by
using the G12x and G139 command as follows.

The thread figure as well as the figure of Bar machining can be specified by the
Sub Program.
(Note) Continuous thread cannot be specified.
(Note) Taper thread cannot be specified.
