3.2. Intelligent Terminal type 1
Update BIOS to use BIOS UPDATE UTILITY DISK, and you solve Year 2000 issue of BIOS. Before
that, note BIOS setting. ( Refer to section 5 about a process. )
3.2.1. Necessary things
- A FDD that a label name is “Intelligent Terminal (Type 1) BIOS UPDATE UTILITY DISK”
- Floppy drive unit (Only the system that the floppy drive unit don't attached.)
- Full keyboard

Please require the “Intelligent Terminal (Type1) BIOS UPDATE UTILITY DISK” to our sales
engineer.

3.2.3. Environment
Intelligent Terminal Type1 that BIOS revision is 1.08 and former.
If you update BIOS for the environment except the above one, destroy the Intelligent Terminal Type1.
Don’t do that.
3.2.4. Attention
Update BIOS according to “3.2.5. BIOS-update Process”. If push any key
except the order or turn off while update, the update-BIOS is failed. In
case of this, destroy the machine and it is impossible that repair for the
user. Don’t update BIOS for the environment except the above one.
