4. SET-UP UTILITY (MMC-IV)
BIOS setting of MMC-IV is cleared after update BIOS. You should note the setting before update.
However, it is unnecessary to run the set-up program for usual use of the MMC-IV.
4.1. Keys Used for Operation
The keys used for set-up have the following functions.
- [ ] [ ] keys : Move the cursor to the next item.
- [ ] [ ] keys : Move the cursor to the previous item.
- [Page Down] key : Move the cursor to the next menu.
- [Page Up] key : Move the cursor to the previous menu.
- [Space] [-] key : Change values.
- [ESC] key : Exit.
4.2. How to Begin the “SET-UP”
1. Finish to work and store the data.
2. If a full-keyboard is connected.
Press the [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Delete] keys to reset the MMC-IV.
If a full-keyboard has not been connected.
Turn off the power, connect a full-keyboard, and turn on the power again.
3. Immediately when POST ends and DOS loading begins, press the [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Esc] keys. The
Standard System Parameters display appears on the screen. If it does not appear, retry starting at
step 2.
4. Write down the parameters with underline of each display on the screen.
Go on the next page.
Be sure to connect a full-keyboard.
