18.CUSTOM MACRO NC FUNCTIONS B-63782EN/01
- 252 -
18.3 MACRO EXECUTOR
There are two types of NC programs; those which, once created, are
scarcely changed, and those which are changed for each machining
type. The former are programs created by the custom macro, and the
latter are machining programs.
By this function, custom macro programs created by a machine tool
builder can be converted to an execution format, registered into the F-
ROM (FLASH ROM module) , and executed.
The function which converts macro source program to an execution
format macro program(P-code macro) is called MACRO COMPILER,
and the function which reads out P-code macro and executes it is called
MACRO EXECUTOR.
Features
- Since the custom macro program is converted into an execution
format and registered, the execution speed is high. The machining
time is then reduced, and the precision is improved.
- Since the program is registered in the F-ROM, there is no problem
of custom macro destruction by error operation. The reliability is
improved.
- Since the converted program into execution format is not
indicated on the program display, the machine tool builder’s
know-how can be protected.
- Since the execution format macro program is registered in the F-
ROM, the program edit memory can be used efficiently.
- The user can call the execution format macro program with an
easy call procedure without being conscious of the registered
program.
- The Conversation Macro function is available by which an
original screen can be created.
- The Auxiliary Macro function is available by which P-code macro
can be executed regardless with selected mode and selected
screen.
- The mistakes of program can be found out easily by the Debug
function while P-code macro is executed on Conversation/
Auxiliary macro function.
Difference between
FS15i-B and FS15-B
(1) Custom macro program can not be converted to an execution
format macro program(P-code macro) by the CNC itself.
(2) An execution format macro program can not be executed without
registration into the F-ROM.
