29.3 INTERLOCK
29.3.1 Interlock per Axis
Axis feed specified to each axis can be stopped separately. If interlock
is specified to any of the moving axis during cutting feed, all axes of the
machine movement will decelerate to a stop. When interlock signal is
reset, the moving starts.
29.3.2 All Axes Interlock
Feed of all axes can be inhibited. When all axes interlock is
commanded during move, it decelerates and stops. When all axes
interlock signal is reset, the moving restarts.
29.3.3 Automatic-Operation All-Axis Interlock
Feed on all axes can be disabled during automatic operation. When
all-axis interlock is specified during move in automatic operation, the
machine is decelerated to a stop. When all-axis interlock is canceled,
the machine starts again.
29.3.4 Block Start Interlock
During automatic operation, it is possible to prevent the next block
from starting. This function does not stop a block that has already
started; the execution of such a block continues until completed.
When block start interlock is canceled, the execution of the next block
is started.
29.3.5 Cutting Block Start Interlock
During automatic operation, it is possible to prevent a block that
contains a non-positioning move command from starting.
When cutting block start interlock is canceled, the execution of the next
block is started.
When a spindle rotation command or a spindle speed change command
is issued, the application of cutting block start interlock until the
spindle reaches the target speed enables the next cutting block to run at
the target spindle speed.
