1 AC SERVO MOTOR MAINTENANCE
Generally, β series servo motors have no parts that wear out
or that must be replaced periodically, unlike DC servo
motors, which have brushes that must be replaced
periodically.
However, you should perform periodic maintenance for servo
motors so as to keep their initial performance as long as
possible and to prevent breakdowns. Therefore, we
recommend that you inspect the servo motors periodically
according to the descriptions given below.
