10.14 SUB SCREENS
On the currently displayed CNC screen (referred to as the main screen
in the remainder of this manual), a sub screen can be displayed.
This allows the user to perform the following:
- Display the actual position on the parts count/run time display
screen
- Display the currently executed program on the tool path drawing
screen
- Display a description of the alarm that has been generated during
the execution of a program while keeping the program or program
check screen displayed
On a sub screen, items such as the actual position, the program
currently being executed, the tool offset values, and alarms can be
displayed. For details of the display items, see "2. Display items."
The display position and size of a sub screen can generally be set as the
user desires, although some limitations apply. Simple operations can
be performed on a sub screen. For example, the origin preset operation
can be performed in the actual position display on a sub screen. Note,
however, that complicated operations such as program editing cannot
be performed on the program display.
