(i) When the base discharge state is entered, record the RFI
value.----------------------------------------------------------------(A)
(3) Base discharge adjustment (C4000-E)
(a) Start the oscillator, and wait until the gas pressure is
stabilized in the base discharge state.
(b) Then, check that all discharge tubes are continuously
discharging. If a discharge tube stops discharge, turn VR11
of the power supply corresponding to the discharge tube
clockwise until the discharge tube discharges.
(c) Adjust VR11 of the power supply unit so that all discharge
tubes are in the state present immediately before flashing by
main discharge occurs.
(d) Record the value of RFI------------------------------------------(a)
(e) Adjust the RFI value so that the value recorded in (d) plus
70 mA is obtained for power supply No. 1 and that the
value recorded in (d) minus 70 mA is obtained for power
supplies Nos. 2 through 4.
(f) Turn off the discharge start signal (HV ON), then set the
bias command value in PRM 15223 to 2790 (the current
value minus 60).
(g) Check that trigger electrode discharge lasts for five minutes
in the base discharge state. If discharge is turned off, turn
VR11 of the power supply clockwise slowly, and increase
the value of RFI by 4 mA. Turn the discharge start signal
(HV ON) off then back on, then repeat this operation until
discharge is maintained for five minutes.
(h) Turn off the discharge start signal (HV ON), then reset the
bias command value in PRM 15223 to the original value.
(i) When the base discharge state is entered, record the RFI
value.----------------------------------------------------------------(A)
(4) Base discharge adjustment (C5000-E, C6000-E)
(a) Start the oscillator, and wait until the gas pressure is
stabilized in the base discharge state.
(b) Then, check that all discharge tubes are continuously
discharging. If a discharge tube stops discharge, turn VR11
of the power supply corresponding to the discharge tube
clockwise until the discharge tube discharges.
(c) Adjust VR11 of the power supply until main discharge
disappears in all discharge tubes.
(d) Record the value of RFI------------------------------------------(a)
(e) Turn off the discharge start signal (HV ON), then set the
bias command value in PRM 15223 to 2790 (the current
value minus 60).
(f) Check that trigger electrode discharge lasts for five minutes
in the base discharge state. If discharge is turned off, turn
VR11 of the power supply clockwise slowly, and increase
the value of RFI by 4 mA. Turn the discharge start signal
(HV ON) off then back on, then repeat this operation until
discharge is maintained for five minutes.
