3. 1. 3 Drilling Cycle (Peck) G83
This cycle performs peck drilling. It performs
intermittent cutting feed to the bottom of a hole while
removing shavings from the hole.
And an arbor with the overload torque detection
function is used to retract the tool when the overload
torque detection signal is detected during drilling.
Drilling is resumed after the spindle speed and cutting
feed-rate are changed.
By pushing [PECK], the following items are displayed
Z POINT DISTANCE
In the case G90 (Absolute = Default)
- the Z axis position of the bottom of the hole
In the case G91 (Incemental)
- the distance from point R to the bottom of the hole
R POINT DISTANCE
In the case G90 (Absolute = Default)
- the Z axis position of point R level
In the case G91 (Incemetnal)
- the distance from the initial level to point R level
PITCH DEPTH
Depth of cut for each step 'Q'
DWELL TIME
Dwell time at the bottom of the hole
FEED RATE
Cutting feed rate for drilling
