6. 2. 2. 4 Movements in Side finishing
1. Rapid in XY to start point ( B )
2. Rapid in Z to cutting point
(is calculated by : End Z, bottom removal, Z cut
step, clearance).
3. Descent along the lower Z position with Z feed by
the defined Z cut step.
4. Cut into the workpiece following a circular path.
5. Side cutting along the side figure, cut the finishing
amount.
6. Move away from the workpiece after cutting
following a circular path.
7. Move away by the clearance amount in Z.
8. Rapid back to starting point ( B )
9. 2. - 8. are repeated to the end point of Z bottom.
10. Rapid in Z up to the point
(end point Z + bottom removal + clearance).
6. 2. 2. 5 Movements in Chamfering
1. Rapid in XY to start point ( B )
2. Rapid in Z to the cutting point.
(is calculated by : End point Z , bottom removal,
chamfer removal, tool small diameter, chamfer
angle, tool out depth, clearance).
3. Cut into the workpiece in XY, following a circular
path.
4. Cutting chamfer amount along the side figure.
5. Move away with Feed rate in XY from the
workpiece, following a circular path.
6. Rapid in Z up to the point
(end point Z + bottom removal + clearance).
