1. 2 Operation Modes
'Manual Guide M' enables different operation modes:
1. 2. 1 Manual Operation
A machine for milling and drilling operation, equipped
with 'Manual Guide M' can be used as normal
standard machine, moving axis by handwheel,
without any support of CNC control.
1. 2. 2 Guidance Cutting (Option)
This function enables the operator to move axis by
Guidance Handwheel according the selected
function, such as a tapered or arc figure.
After cutting the workpiece with above function, all
moving and other actions, like spindle on, coolant on,
etc., can be taught as teaching into a machining
program as a program block, step by step. These
program blocks can be used later for 'Play Back'
machining.
1. 2. 3 MDI Operation
'Manual Guide M' enables the operator to input all
CNC commands in MDI Mode, separately or during
'Manual Guide M' programming mode.
1. 2. 4 Cycle Operation
A lot of advanced canned cycles are available in
'Manual Guide M' to prepare machining programs in
extremely short time. Cycle selection by soft key with
symbols. Good graphical support in window
technique enables easy data input for:
