PREP A NEW PROCESS PROGRAM
A transfer process is used with a lathe having facing spindles to
transfer a workpiece from spindle 1 to spindle 2 or vice versa.
For a transfer process, a user program can display up to 20 types of
operations, up to 12 data items for each type, and five soft keys for
each data item as in the case of an auxiliary process.
The example above shows the screen for reading, from the machine
coordinates, the Z-axis coordinate for transferring a workpiece from
spindle 1 to spindle 2.
