By positioning tool exactly to radius start point X1
and pressing start button on machine, tool directly
performs finish cut, or semi finish cut if tool is in
range [X1+Finish Amount]
In order to machine figure of example 1and
example 2 it is necessary to program an outer
concave radius cutting
To perform machining like in example 1 input an
initial radius R1 much larger as final radius. After
each cut is necessary to open cycle reduce
amount of radius and execute cycle again. By
proceeding in this way step by figure is machined.
To perform machining like in example 2 input an
initial X2 coordinate much larger as final X2
coordinate. After each cut is necessary to open
cycle, reduce X2 and execute cycle again. By
proceeding in this way step by figure is machined.
Maximum radius which can be cut by above
procedure is a half circle.
By working according above described procedure
real cutting depth value does not correspond to
value inserted in D-CUT data field of cycle. Make
sure to use a sufficient large initial radius R or
initial X2 value to avoid overload of tool. Execute
cutting on first part with low override and
approach to final shape by reducing R and X2 in
small steps.
Example 1: Machining outer concave figure by
reducing radius
Example 2: Machining outer concave figure by
shifting X coordinate of end point
