4.10 Saving Tool, Feed and Spindle
Speed Data to Cycle
It is possible to save Tool, Feed and Spindle
Speed data together with cycle data. Doing so is
only recommended in case workpiece machining
requires many different operations. In such case
saving F, S and T together with cycle prevents
from executing machining with incorrect settings.
By pressing icon on cycle data input screens,
T, F, S screen opens.
When making a new cycle Feed, Speed and Tool
data are set to zero as default. If this data are set
to zero cycle ignores data. After inserting T, F, S
data it is necessary to save cycle in order to store
T, F and S data to CNC memory.
Tool Data
When starting machining by pressing start button
on machine, it is checked if tool data of activated
tool on main screen corresponds to data set in
“T
Set
”. If data do not mach, machining is not
started and alarm “Check Tool Data” is coming
up. In this case change the tool in tool holder and
activate corresponding tool number on tool
screen. Afterwards machining can be started. If
“T
Set
” is not set, it is ignored from cycle.
Feedrate
When starting machining by pressing start button
Feedrate set in “F
Set
” data field becomes active.
Feedrate display on main screen is changed. If
“F
Set
” is not set it is ignored from cycle.
Spindle Speed and Gear
When starting machining by pressing start button
spindle speed set in “S
Set
” or “S
Css
” and CSS
ON/OFF selection is becoming active. Spindle
speed display on main screen is changed.
When inserting data for spindle speed in “S
Set
” or
“S
Css
” data field, it is checked if current gear
setting on machine, corresponds to gear setting
saved with cycle. If gear setting does not
correspond, machining is not started and alarm
“Check Gear” is coming up. In this case change
gear of machine and activate gear on gear setting
screen. Afterwards maching can be started. If
“S
Set
” or “S
Css
” are zero, spindle speed and gear
are ignored from cycle.
T,F,S saving screen. Press to return cycle
data input screen. Constant surface speed on.
Constant surface speed off
Automatic tool changer as well as automatic gear
change are not supported by this function.
Spindle speed data and gear selection are only
displayed if machine is equipped with a frequency
converter.
