7 Alarm and Configurations
Screens
7.1 Alarm Screen
By pressing alarm button on main screen
alarm message screen opens. When an alarm is
active, alarm button on main screen flashes.
Alarm screen is divided in two display areas.
- In Machine
display area alarm messages
basically related to machine are displayed like
“Door Open” , Reference Needed.
- In CNC
display area alarm codes coming
directly from the CNC unit are displayed. For
detailed explanations of meaning of this alarm
codes refer to Power Mate 0 Operators
Manual B-63444EN.
From alarm screen several sub screens can be
accessed. All screens in described in following
sections are designated for use by service and
maintenance personnel. If settings on below
screens are modified machine might not work
correctly!
- Maintenance Screen
: DANGER, this screen is
designated only to service personnel. When
this screen is opened and some of the
functions on this screen are activated by
pressing on touch areas machine will not work
correctly any more! When a function on this
screen is accidentally activated an alarm
message “ALARM SCREEN ACTIVE” comes
up. By deactivating functions on alarm screen
alarm message is cleared and machine will
work correctly.
- R-Address Status
: This screen allows
checking status of R0 to R50 PLC addresses.
- I/O Check Screen
: This screen allows
checking status of electric inputs/outputs to
PLC. Screen is designed for checking
electrical wiring of peripheral equipment of
machine.
- Configuration Screen
: DANGER, this allows to
change configurations of some functions, like
language setting.
