When editing a machining program, confirm that the changes are correct. Any errors made dur-
ing editing must be corrected, because there is not copy of the program as it existed prior to the
start of editing.
If the machining program contains any errors, the tool may collide with the workpiece, or the ma-
chine may be forced to perform machining that exceeds its physical capabilities, possibly caus-
ing damage to the tool and/or machine, or even injury to the user or bystanders.
When a machining program is edited, the cutting condition data may be changed automatically
such that it ultimately differs from the manually entered data, depending on the changes made.
In such a case, check that the automatically made changes are as intended. Any data that is
not exactly as intended must be corrected.
If the cutting condition data is not as intended, the tool may collide with the workpiece, or the ma-
chine may be forced to perform machining that exceeds its physical capabilities, possibly caus-
ing damage to the tool and/or machine, or even injury to the user or bystanders.
