WARNING
7. When you operate the machine using a machining program created using a conversational
function or a machining program generated by converting another machining program to NC
program format, be particularly careful to use the correct tool compensation data.
If the machine is used with incorrect data, the tool may collide with the machine and/or
workpiece, possibly causing damage to the tool and/or machine, or even injury to the user or
bystanders. The method of measuring the tool compensation amount varies depending on the
machine tool builder. Before starting measurement, therefore, users must read and become
totally familiar with the relevant manual(s), supplied by the machine tool builder.
8. After pressing the power ON button, do not touch any key on the keyboard until the screen
display appears. Some keys are allocated to maintenance or other special operations. Pressing
any of these keys may result in the machine not behaving as expected.
