4. Restrictions
- Basic restrictions
The restrictions for the tilted working plane commands are similar to those
for three-dimensional coordinate conversion.
Following are the restrictions that require special attention.
- Increment system
The same increment system must be used for the basic three axes used by this
function.
- Rapid traverse command
The rapid traverse command must specify linear rapid traverse (parameter LRP
(parameter No.1401#1) = 1).
The accelaration/deceleration type must be set to a time constant type (Parameter
RPT (No.1603#4)=1).
When the tilted working plane command executed in the AI contour control, AI NANO
contour control mode, the accelaration/deceleration must be set to
acceleration/deceleration before interpolation (Parameter AIR (No.7054#1)=0).
When the tilted working plane command executed in the AI high precision contour
control, AI NANO high precision contour control mode, the accelaration/
deceleration must be set to acceleration/deceleration before interpolation (Parameter
FRP (No.19501#5)=1).
- Feature coordinate system and three-dimensional coordinate conversion
An alarm(P/S5456) ocuurs if a new feature coordinate system is set in another
feature coordinate system.
An alarm(P/S5456) occurs also if a new coordinate system by performing
three-dimensional coordinate conversion is set in a feature coordinate system.
- Positioning in the machine coordinate system
Positioning commands in the machine coordinate system, such as G28, G30, and
G53, operate in the machine coordinate system rather than the feature coordinate
system. (The movement to the middle point operates in the feature coordinate
system.) In case of tilted working plane command executing at RISC processor,
these commands can not be specified.
