8. G-code unification
General
G-code number of the tool side offset varies by the machine type ( tool rotation type,
rotary table type, and mix-type).
When parameter No.19609#0 is set to 1, this is unified into G-code of the tool rotaion
type, G41.2 and G42.2.
Format
・Tool side offset
G41.2 (or G42.2) IP_ D_ ;
G41.2: Cutter compensation left (group 07)
G42.2: Cutter compensation right (group 07)
IP_: Value specified for axis movement
D_: Code specifying the cutter compensation amount (1 to 3 digits)
・Canceling the tool side offset
G40 IP_ ;
G40: Cancellation of cutter compensation (group 07)
IP_: Value specified for axis movement
NOTE
1.
If the G-code is unified (parameter No.19609#0 = 1), the following
parameters should be set to “0”.

2. If the G-code is unified (parameter No.19609#0 = 1), the conventional
G-code of the rotary table type and mix-type (G41.4/G41.2 and
G41.5/G42.5) can’t be used. The alarm (P/S5000) is issued when these
G-code are used.
3. If the G-code is unified (parameter No.19609#0 = 1), the alarm for the tool
rotation type (G41.2/G42.2) is shown when the alarm occurs.
