Attached 2. Correction of the torque control type 2
1. Outline
The following phenomenon occurs in the torque control type 2.
We report the correction of the torque control type 2 in this update of digital servo software.
2. Phenomenon
When the constant torque command is given by PMC with using the torque control type 2,
the torque command sometimes becomes unstable, and a phenomenon like axis vibration
occurs under the following conditions.
3. Condition
If the following conditions are satisfied, the phenomenon mentioned above occurs.
(a) Servo software 90B0/A (01) or 90B0/B (02) is used.
(b) The torque control type 2 is used.

(c) Either “torque limit function during acceleration” or “compensation function for current
phase delay at deceleration” is used.

The following motors fit the condition (c) with default servo parameter. So the torque
control type 2 doesn’t work normally if you use default servo parameter.

Please change a servo software to 90B0/C (03) or later.
