Power Failure Backup Module
Descriptions

Operation to be performed at an instantaneous voltage drop
An instantaneous voltage drop of the amplifier instantaneous voltage drop guarantee time of 3
msec or less is not detected as a power failure, so that continuous operation is performed.
An instantaneous voltage drop of 7 msec or greater (detection delay time setting for path 1) is
detected as a power failure on path 1.
An instantaneous voltage drop of 3 msec to 7 msec may be detected as a power failure and may
not be detected as such so that continuous operation is performed, depending on the state of the
motor load: If, during an instantaneous voltage drop of 3 msec to 7 msec, the DC link voltage
drops to the power failure detection level for path 2, the drop is detected as a power failure and if
it does not drop to the power failure detection level for path 2, it is not detected as such so that
continuous operation is performed.
