If the number of sub modules C is insufficient,
the voltage reduces to 140V or below before
time t1, generating an alarm.

Check that the synchronous error is within
the permissible range until the completion of
retraction of the workpiece and the tool.
Time
The area corresponds to the amount of travel along the retract axis.
The time until the workpiece and tool travel to a position where
they do not interfere with each other is assumed t1.
Check method
Fist, cause a power failure while the machine is idle,
and check that the DC link voltage is 140 V or greater
(minimum voltage at which amplifiers can operate) at
time t1.
Next, cause a power failure while the machine is at
light load and in synchronous cutting mode, and check
that the DC link voltage is 140 V or greater (minimu
voltage at which amplifiers can operate) at time t1.
At the same time, check that the synchronous error is
within the permissible range.
If the voltage reduces to 140 V or below before time
t1, the workpiece and the tool may be damaged. To
prevent this, gradually increase the cutting load while
looking at changes in DC link voltage, and check with
the maximum load last.
* You can observe the DC link voltage with the spindle check
board.
(1000V/FS with data number 162 and 8 bits left shifted).
Refer to Descriptions B-65285EN or B65165E.
* For the EGB, the synchronous error is equivalent to the
number of pulses of the positional deviation as
determined from the VCMD of the workpiece axis (servo
motor).
(3) Countermeasure in case that retracting operation is not completed normally.
One of the probable causes for failure to perform power failure retraction is that an emergency
stop is applied before the completion of retraction. Check whether the relay of the emergency
stop line does not turns off before the completion of retraction, and whether the emergency stop
signal is not manipulated in response to the alarm output from another device due to a power
failure.
