AL-5 (DC link low voltage alarm) occurs in the SVM.
AL-3 (DC link fuse flown alarm) occurs in the SPM. (Note 2)
Note 1. When a power failure is detected, the power failure detection signal *PFL of 0 is output. In response
to this signal, immediately perform ladder processing that starts retraction.
Note 2. After a power failure, motor drive is performed with the energy from sub module C. As the energy is
consumed, the DC link voltage decreases gradually, finally causing AL-5 (DC link low voltage alarm) in
the SVM and AL-3 (DC link fuse blown alarm) in the SPM. This causes the servo motor to come to a
DB stop and the spindle motor to coast, making it impossible to maintain synchronization. For this
reason, the number of sub modules must be determined so that the retract operation is completed before
these alarms are generated.
