(3) Compare the conditions when the motor is driven and when the motor
is coasting.
If considerably less vibration and noise is observed while the motor
is coasting, the control circuitry is faulty. If the same degree of
vibration and noise is observed, however, the motor or machine is
faulty.
The motor starts coasting and an alarm is issued if the feedback signal
cable is disconnected while the motor is rotating. Before attempting
to coast the motor, check with the machine tool builder. The machine
can stop, depending on the sequence.
(1) Check the parameter settings.
(a) The velocity loop gain value may be too large. Adjust the
parameters indicated below.
