programmed path as shown in the following figure.

Although the workpiece does not exist on the right side of the
programmed path in the above case, the existence of the workpiece is
assumed in the movement from A to B. The workpiece position
must not be changed in the block next to the start-up block. In the
above example, if the block specifying motion from A to B were the
start-up block, the tool path would not be the same as the one shown.
