- Changing the compensation value
In general, the compensation value is to be changed when the tool is
changed in offset cancel mode. If the compensation value is changed
in offset mode, however, the vector at the end point of the block is
calculated using the compensation value specified in that same block.
The same applies if the imaginary tool nose direction and the tool
offset value are changed.

When a G41 or G42 code is specified again in G41/G42 mode, the
tool nose center is positioned vertical to the programmed path of the
preceding block at the end point of the preceding block.
