G04P
; (Drilling is not performed. Drilling data P is not changed by G04P.)
Specifydrilling data Q, P in the block where drilling is performed.
In other
words, specify it in the block for which the X or R axis data is specified. This
data is not stored as modal data if specified in a block where drilling is not
performed.
When the canned cycle (G74, G84, G86) which performs the rotational control
of the spindle is used and drilling with a short distance between the initial level
to the R point level is short, the spindle may not reach the normal rotation
.
before it enters the cutting operation (OX) of the hole.
As previously mentioned, a canned cycle may also be canceiled with GO0 to
GO1 (group 01 G code). This cancel is performed when GO0 to GO3 is read if it
is specified in the same block as G m 0 (# indicates 0 to 3, 0 0 indicates the
canned cycle code):
G# GOC] X R Q P F ;
(The canned cycle isperformed.) - -
GomG#X R Q P F ;
(Movementalong the a= pexmedas specified in G#, R, P, and Q
are ignored and F is stored.)
When a miscellaneous function is specified in the same block as a canned
cycle command, the M code and MF signals are sent. The control waits for the
finish signal (FIN) at the end of positioning before starting the next drilling
operation.
If the 2nd block is specified in the same block as a canned cycle block, the 2nd
axis is positioned before drilling.
Operator precautions
Single block
When a canned cycle is performed in the single block mode, the control stops
at the end of operation 1, and 5, as shown in Fig.1 3.1 (a). Therefore, it must be
started twice to drill one hole. The feed hold lamp lights at the end of operations
1. When the number of repeats to be machined is left at the end of operation
5, the system stops with feed hold state, and when not, the system stops in
stop state.
Feed hold
When a feed hold is applied between operations 2 to 4 in canned cycle G74 or
G84, the feed hold lamp immediately lights, but the control continues to operate
up to operation 5 and stops. If a feed hold is applied again during operation 5, it
immediately stops.
Override
The feed rate override is assumed to be 100% during the operation of canned
cycle G74 or G84.
