• Acceletation/deceletation before interpolation
Please use the acceleration/deceleration before interpolation at the same time
when you use tool center point control (Parameter No.19501#5(FRP)=1).
When the acceleration/deceleration before interpolation is not used (Parameter
No.19501#5(FRP)=0), the following alarms occurs.
• P/S alarm 5422
In exceeding the maximum cutting feedrate by executing tool center
point control
• P/S alarm 5420
On and after B451-21 (U)
• MDI intervention
In the tool center point control mode, the MDI operation cannot be used.
• Manual intervention
P/S alarm 5196 occurs when the manual operation (i.e. JOG or manual handle) is
done in the tool center point control mode.
• Tool Radius Compensation for 5-axis Machining
Please set parameter WKP (No.19696#5) to ‘1’ when tool center point control is
used together with cutter radius compensation for 5-axis machining (G41.5
and G42.5). Moreover, please command cutter radius compensation for 5-axis
machining and tool center point control to become a nest at that time.
The cutter compensation vector is maintained from two previous blocks of G49
when G49 is instructed in the cutter compensation (G41.5, G42.5) mode
because the block of G49 stops buffering. Please note this when cutter radius
compensation for 5-axis machining is previously instructed.
