3. Move the cursor to the compensation value to be set or changed using page
keys and cursor keys. Or enter the compensation number for the compensation
value to be set or changed and press soft key
[NO.SRH
].
4. To set a compensation value, enter a value and press soft key
[INPUT
]. To
change the compensation value, enter a value to add to the current value (a
negative value to reduce the current value) and press soft key
[+INPUT
]. Or,
enter a new value and press soft key
[INPUT
].
TIP is the number of the virtual tool tip (see the chapter of Programming).
TIP may be specified on the geometry compensation screen or on the wear
compensation screen.
Procedure for DPL/MDI
1. Press the <VAR> key to display the offset screen.
2. Use the cursor keys or enter <No.><(number key)><INPUT> to display the
offset number to be set.
Without tool geometry/wear offset
With tool geometry/wear offset

3. Display the desired X, Z, R, and T addresses with the cursor keys.
4. Enter a value using the data input keys.
5. Press the <INPUT> key. The each setting value is input and displayed.
