When the blank is a bar, “cutting–off position” is displayed in the initial
setting data to allow cutting–off position input.
Cutting–off position:
Specify a cutting–off position.
Specify the distance between the position where cutting–off is
started and the end of the chuck on the main spindle side.
Specify a chuck barrier (NC option), as shown in Fig. 5.1 (a) and Fig.
5.1 (b).

On the animated simulation screen, only the chuck on the main spindle
side is drawn. The chuck on the subspindle side is not drawn.
Set a chuck barrier (NC option) for the main spindle side and subspindle
side.
The blank length on the main spindle side drawn on the animated
simulation screen is: “blank length” + “cutting–off position” + L1 (chuck
craw grasp length).
NOTE
This function cannot be used with some series and editions
of the software.
