LATHE FUNCTION
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS OF SERIES
BH1E/BH2E/BH3E AND BH1F/BH2F/BH3F

(3) Even if the lathe is used as a two–path lathe without adding the
three–path function, the conversational function cannot be used
when a tool post other than tool post 1 is selected.
(4) On a multi–path lathe, a different conversational program cannot be
executed for each tool post.
(5) In the balance cut process, only machining with tool post 1
synchronized with tool post 3 and machining with tool post 1
synchronized with tool post 2 can be performed.
(6) The restrictions on balance cutting are the same as for the CNC
function.
(7) In animated simulation in the three–path complex lathe function,
tool post 1 is indicated as the upper turret, and tool posts 2 and 3 are
indicated as the lower turrets. Animated simulation of tool posts 2
and 3 cannot be performed at the same time.
(8) In the three–path complex lathe function, the interference check
function by animated simulation cannot make interference checks
for tool post 2 and tool post 3. The interference check is performed
only in the tool post subjected to animated simulation.
(9) After a conversationally created program is converted to an NC
format program, animated simulation cannot be performed for that
NC program.
(10) Up to 16 turning tools and up to 16 C–/Y–axis tools can be registered
in tooling data for tool post 1. For tool posts 2 and 3, up to 16 turning
tools and up to 16 C–/Y–axis tools in total can be registered.
