NOTE
1 For machining simulation in the three–path lathe
conversational function, select tool post 1 on the screen. If
a tool post other than tool post 1 is selected, machining
simulation cannot be used.
2 With the three–path lathe conversational function, repetitive
animation cannot be performed.
3 When the interference check function by animated
simulation is used in the three–path lathe conversational
function, the following restrictions are imposed:
For lathes with tool post 1 (the first path) located on the
upper side which allows main–spindle and sub–spindle
machining, tool post 2 (the second path) on the lower side
which allows sub–spindle machining only, and tool post 3
(the third path) on the lower side which allows
main–spindle machining only (when parameter No. 27124
is set to 0 or 1), interference checks for tool post 2 and tool
post 3 cannot be made.
For lathes with tool post 1 (the first path) located on the
upper side which allows main–spindle machining only,
tool post 2 (the second path) on the upper side which
allows sub–spindle machining only, and tool post 3 (the
third path) on the lower side which allows main–spindle
and sub–spindle machining (when parameter No. 27124
is set to 2), interference checks for tool post 1 and tool post
3 cannot be made.
The interference check is made only for the tool post
subjected to animated simulation.
4 When the conversational mode is off, animated simulation
is disabled.
D A machining program created by conversational programming can be
converted to an NC program for execution or modification.
With the three–path lathe conversational function, the NC program
obtained by conversion is output to part program storage on the NC.
