2.MEASUREMENT CYCLE B-63874EN-1/02
- 206 -
- Measurement of an offset value in the -Z-axis direction (measurement of an offset
value in the tool radius direction)
The measurement motion described below is made when [AUTO] is
selected in all input items of “SPECIFY OF X SHIFT”, “SPECIFY
OF Y SHIFT”, and “SPECIFY OF Z SHIFT”.
<1> A rapid movement is made from the current position to the
approach point (Y coordinate,Z coordinate).
Here, the approach point (Y coordinate) represents the Y
coordinate of the "sensor position for measurement in the -Z
direction" of the touch sensor position in the specified
measurement condition. The approach point (Z coordinate)
represents (Z coordinate of the "sensor position for measurement
in the -Z direction" of the touch sensor position in the specified
measurement condition + "CLEARANCE" + OFS
D
).
<2> In the X-axis direction, a rapid movement is made to the
approach point (X coordinate).
Here, the approach point (X coordinate) represents (X coordinate
of the "sensor position for measurement in the -Z direction" of
the touch sensor position in the specified measurement condition
+ OFS
H
).
<3> In the range from the approach point to ("CLEARANCE" + γ), a
measurement is made at feedrate f. (First measurement)
<4> Next, a rapid return movement is made by β, and a measurement
is made in the range from that position to (β + γ) at the specified
feedrate F. (Second measurement)
<5> Then, a rapid return movement is made by ε in the +Z-axis
direction.
If the coordinates of the "sensor position for measurement in the -Z
direction" of the touch sensor position are shifted from the
coordinates of the tool measurement position, specify the shift in
"SPECIFY OF X, Y, or Z SHIFT".
For example, the motion described below is made when a soft key
other than [AUTO] is selected in "SPECIFY OF X SHIFT".
• If [OFSET+] is selected in "SPECIFY OF X SHIFT", the
approach point (X coordinate) represents (X coordinate of the
"sensor position for measurement in the -Z direction" of the
touch sensor position + OFS
H
).
