7.1. Set-Up Guidance Function for Multi-path Lathe

The set-up guidance functions can be used for the multi-path lathe system.

NOTE

In the case of using the Manual Measurement Function, it is necessary

to set the following parameter to ‘1’

Parameter SPT(No.27400#0)

=0 Display path is selection by the software key

=1 Display path selection by the HEAD switch signal

(Reason)

On the manual measurement screen, the manual operations, like the

manual handle feed, are usually executed. And the path of executing

the manual operation is selected by the HEAD switch signal.

So if the display path is different from the path which is selected by

the HEAD switch signal, it is not possible to find executing the

measurement correctly because of the difference between the

display axis data and the actual measurement positions.
