<5> When the cursor is placed on "1ST PT. MEASURE DIRECT,"

the following screen appears.

<6> Select a measurement direction from the [+X], [-X], [+Y], [-Y],

[+Z], and [-Z] soft keys.

Usually, no change is needed.

If you want to make measurements on another point, and the

desired measurement direction does not match the one displayed

on the screen, select the desired measurement direction, using

the soft keys.

NOTE

If the measurement plane specified in "MEASURE

DIRECTION" does not match the measurement

direction for a measurement point, the warning

message "The input range is invalid" is displayed.

(Example) If [X-Y] is selected in "MEASURE

DIRECTION," and [+Z] is selected in

"1ST PT. MEASURE DIRECT."

<7> After entering data in "MEASURE DIRECTION," press the

[MESURE] soft key. The probe touches the measurement point

automatically, and the current position of the measurement point

is displayed as the measurement result.
