Measurement motion
Measurement motion is described below.
<1> A rapid movement is made from the current position to the point
specified by "MEASURE POINT X" and "MEASURE POINT
Y".
<2> In the Z-axis direction, a rapid movement is made to the
approach point (Z coordinate).
Here, the approach point (Z coordinate) represents (T + "REFER.
WORK HEIGHT " + "CLEARANCE").
<3> In the range from the approach point to ("CLEARANCE" + γ), a
measurement is made at feedrate f. (First measurement)
<4> Next, a rapid return movement is made by β, and a measurement
is made in the range from that position to (β + γ) at the feedrate
F specified by "MOVING MEAS. SPEED". (Second
measurement)
<5> Then, a rapid return movement is made by ε in the +Z-axis
direction.
