B-63943EN-1/02 17.PMC CONTROL FUNCTION
- 1941 -
Commands that cannot be executed successively in the
superimposition mode
If a command indicated below is specified when the NC program is
being executed, the NC program is executed after the termination of
the PMC axis control command.
- Rapid traverse block including an axis on which a movement is
being made under PMC axis control
If any of these commands is specified, the new block of the NC
program is executed after completion of a movement based on the
PMC axis control command.
NOTE
1 Do not perform superimposition during AI contour
control I or II or in the advanced feed forward
state.
2 If the absolute command is executed after
superimposition, the command is specified for the
position obtained by adding the amount of travel
by PMC axis control to the workpiece coordinate.
3 The superimposition function is disabled in the
three-dimensional coordinate conversion mode.
4 For a polygon axis, PMC axis control must not be
specified. Otherwise, the alarm (PS0220) is
issued.
5 Superimposition on manual operation is
impossible. If such an attempt is made, the alarm
(PS0130) is issued.
For details on superimposition, see also the section that describes the
axis control superimposition command signal.
